Ignac Premoša was born in 1947 in Apače near Gornja Radgona. After he had finished primary and secondary school he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. His mentor was Prof. Kiar Meško. Today he lives and creates in an idyllic village named Godemarci near Mala Nedelja in the commune of Ljutomer.

He has been exhibiting since 1975. He is a member of ZDSLU and DLUPP. He has participated in numerous group Exhibition in Slovenia and abroad. His participation in the series of artists’ colonies Ex-tempore was very successful and often rewarded. He is often exhibiting together with members of different artistic associations. The time since 1993 is considered to be the most fruitful in his entire career.
